March in Central Texas and Spring is busting out the seams. The bluebonnets along the highways and side streets are pushing the grasses aside and taking dominance. Along with all the red buds and pink primroses are sneezing and sniffling, but I’ll take them for a few weeks of sunshine, mild temperatures, all the pretty flowers my eyes can handle. All too soon, the Austin area will be baking under the hot summer sun.
But April is coming! Progress on the follow-up novel to Shadows of Victory is moving fast. Plan is to have draft one complete in the next two or three weeks.
I’m all signed up for National Poetry Writing Month (starts 1 April). Churning through ideas for a theme, but it’s tough selecting one. Maybe the poems will be a hodge-podge of themes. Whatever I decide to do, I’ll be posting my daily poems here. Hope you’ll give me feed-back on which ones to work on and which ones to toss out. The poems I’m posting for NaPoWrMo in April will be drafts.
Can’t wait to get started, but I must. Besides, I’d really like to finish the current novel first.
