Epitaphs

Epitaphs are poetic lines meant to reflect on a dead person. Epitaphs often appear on websites announcing a death, engraved on headstones., or spoken in a eulogy.

Born to sleep in mother’s arms

This child, alone, expired not erased.

Torn from hearts in Hate’s cruel storms

To die unwanted, unknown, not unchaste.
