Been busy putting words together with almost 10K words added to Midnight Bites. Talk about a sudden flip. No, I had no great inspiration: No-one threatened me with bodily harm if I didn’t put words to paper: I had no burst of energy requiring me to write. All it took was a note on my calendar. Well, two notes on my calendar repeated every day, Monday through Friday saying, “Writing Time.”
Suddenly, I’m scheduling grocery pickups, appointments, and even my gardening time around those slots on my calendar designated for writing. Knowing words are being written makes me feel good. Knowing with each day I’m closer to wrapping up Midnight Bites makes me feel good.
Isn’t it amazing how one little thing can make a tremendous change? Is there any one thing you can do to make you feel good?
