I’m taking a little time out from my usual post to introduce Primary Immunology (PI) Awareness Month 2024. I use the word introduce, because most people haven’t heard of PI. However, there’s a good chance that someone among your acquaintance is a person with a PI (other than me).
Unfortunately, most people with a PI don’t know about it even though they were born with it.
If you hear hoofbeats, think a horse, not zebra.
That’s the mantra for physicians. By spreading the word about PI, I’m hoping one person out there asks their physician to think Zebra.
