I’m not working today, just popping in to wish everyone a lovely, long holiday weekend. For my friends not celebrating the American Thanksgiving, Happy Weekend! May you, too, enjoy the start of the holiday shopping season.
Hope you’re enjoying a bounteous and joyous celebration. For my friends who work in retail, please rest and relax today. You’ll be busy, busy, busy over the next few days. May you have no angry customers, and may all your sales be profitable.

While so many I know are preparing to spend the weekend rushing and rushing to hit all the sales, I have a stack of books ready to read sitting next to me and a new puzzle on the table to complete. These are my favorite long weekend activities.
