Meet the Eugenes

wolfdogs lying on green grass

Werewolves have been flocking to Las Vegas for about five years, seeking an open community where they can contribute, earn a decent wage, and raise their families in peace. Las Vegas sounded like the ideal place until they got there.

Today, I’m introducing you to two werewolves: Eugene and Phineas, otherwise known as the Eugenes. Werewolves in the Wildes always give their children the same first name. Of course, these twins weren’t born in the Wildes.

Eugene: Eugene arrived in Austin during the events of Midnight Bites. Ask her why she moved to Austin and she’ll loudly proclaim, “It wasn’t my fault.” The Witch who controls Vegas kicked her out, but that’s another story. She thought the invitation to accompany Cesar and CC to their business meeting with the Witch was a good idea. In Midnight Wildes, someone spells her into the Wildes. If that wasn’t bad enough, she’s stuck as a mutt and her brilliant tattoos are gone. She’s pissed, but when she discovers the fate of the werewolves in the Wildes, she’s angry, and you don’t want to mess with an angry Eugene (either of them).

Phineas: Eugene’s twin brother is everything Eugene’s not, always calm, always in charge, and a serious chick magnet. The two are inseparable. Phineas didn’t appear until the end of Midnight Bites when he showed up just in time to help save his sister from rushing in to be the hero – again. In Midnight Wildes, Phineas discovers someone attacked his sister and no one can find her. Now, it’s his turn to rush in blind and need rescuing. Did I mention he’s hot!.

P.S. Did I mention Phineas is hot! Wish I could find a picture of him.
