“Dragon Sitter,” Is that a job title?

Hi,

As final edits, formatting, and artwork are underway, let me introduce you to one of its heroes taking on the tasks of designing a home and raising a Dragon.

I asked Mark, our first hero in Home and Dragons, to describe himself.

“Artist, Interior Designer, and Dragon Sitter – not necessarily in that order, more or less all at once.” That’s all he gave me.

Is Dragon Sitter a real job title?

Mark : Artist, Interior Designer, Dragon Sitter, and finalist in the Internationally broadcast show, Best Home Decorator Contest.

I can’t wait for you to meet Mark.

Mark is one of those people who’s always on the move. Even when he’s sitting still, he’s moving: sketching on paper, drawing on his tablet, reviewing plans, or reading horror stories. The latter surprised me. I didn’t take him for the horror story type, but he said after the year he’s had, they’re like calming nursery rhymes.

I can’t wait for you to meet him. It won’t be long now.

Peace, L.K. Latham

P.S. . I’ve been reading loads of books lately. I think it started the week of the big ice storm. I’m almost ready for another ice storm, just to make a dent in my TBR list. (Just kidding: no ice please, but more books are always welcome.)

A human who can’t stay away from the supernatural no matter how hard she tries.

Monsters. Magic. Mayhem. And one woman fighting to prove she belongs.

Death gave her a second chance. But some bargains come with eternal consequences.

Little Red Riding Hood had a big, bad wolf… I have four.
