I’m worn out and charging ahead at the same time. I thought I was handling the stress, but…
My friend shot this picture of me when we met for coffee and writing the other day.
Maybe she’s right, and I’m a wee bit stressed.
My days are now divided between polishing the Home and Dragons omnibus, which includes a few new scenes and a prequel story. (Can’t wait to show you the fancy cover.)
I’m writing Volume 2: Can’t leave the gang hanging around too long. Who knows what they will get up to? And Ruby, the baby dragon. She doesn’t stay small for long.
I’m also a working on a new series of Texas Gothic horror books. I began my author career writing Texas Gothic. Forgot how much I liked it.
I set up a lovely, color-balanced schedule to keep me on track. It broke.
My lovely schedule has, however, turned into a giant spider’s web full of missing strands, thorns, traps, the occasional nice fat fly, and there is a giant spider with rather large fangs keeping all her eyes on me.
Living in a fantasy world with that touch of gothic is fun.
